Reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing activities, installation, modernization and maintenance is the main objective of the environmental pillar.

Our manufacturing activity has certification of quality management systems, environment, security and management of greenhouse gas emissions.

The factory is certified with the Carbon Neutral. The neutralization was performed by carbon credits purchased and the whole process is audited by BSI Brazil and is certified by ISO 14064.

thyssenkrupp Elevadores has volunteer groups in the factory and branches to work with the themes of eco-efficiency.

Thanks to the efforts of our team, we have achieved some environmental goals:

  • 20%LESS CO2

    The Fuel Group contributes to reducing greenhouse gases by 20% in the company's fleet to propose an increase in the use of ethanol in our fleet.

  • 4,9%LESS waste

    Even with the increase of production was recorded at 4.94% reduction in waste.

  • 95%WASTE diverted

    94.5% of landfill waste is recycled, donated or reused, avoiding any damage to the environment.

  • 31%LESS wood

    At the factory, the wood packaging from suppliers are disassembled and reused.

  • 85%LESS tows

    The replacement for washable cloth tow substantially reduces the number of generated hazardous waste contaminated with oil tow.

In Brazil, to manage sustainability in our operations our factory has 11 groups with more than 100 volunteers. The branches, there are 25 multipliers and sustainability committees totaling more than 120 people involved in the management of environmental and social aspects of our activities.
